The Wishing Well – Part 6!

Share:

Finally after my latest book release of “Haunted Heirlooms” I am back on the blog page to continue the story of Delia and her two new friends, Charles and Alaina! Thanks for being soooo patient as I catch you up on the next installment of this terrifying true story.

Last episode (Part 5, but if you’re new to my site, all the previous parts are archived so you can be free to start from the beginning! It’s like a book but only better! By subscribing, you get a story/serial for absolutely FREE!) Delia and Charles stopped by Alaina’s house where Charles saw BLOOD spots on a picture frame in Alaina’s living room. Then, Alaina made sure to block her closet from the view of her friends and quickly escorted them out of the house. What was she hiding?

In this segment they finally arrive at Delia’s backyard and walk and arrive at the well.

Here’s PART 6 of The Wishing Well:

“Shit, come on! Take a look!” Charles leans forward, peering into the well. Delia limps over to the lip of the well, joining Charles.

“Hellooooo….” Delia yells from the opposite site.

“Helllooo… helllooo…. helllooo…” The well echoes back.

Alaina stands, wipes her hands on her cutoff jeans, chewing, eyes riveted to the well. She approaches and leans forward to peer. “What the fuck…”

“What the fuck… what the fuck… what the fuck…” The well echoes back.

Laughter. Charles peers in mischievously.

“Yo, baby…” Charles yells into the mouth of the well.

“Yo, baby… yo, baby… yo….” The well echoes and diminishes as the goes deeper into the abyss.

Delia eyes her friends, Alaina glancing back with a sneer. Charles looks like he won a prize.

“So what’s inside it? Did you go down there yet?” Alaina inquires.

“Can’t. My foot”. Delia replies, pointing to her disabled foot.

“For real, we should see…” Charles adds, encouraging the group.

“See what… climb in?” Alaina replies as she peers and sniffs.

“It stinks down there… just so you know.” Delia said.

“Like Alaina’s panties…” Charles guffaws.

Alaina darts back a dirty look at Charles. She looks around the area as if looking for something.

“What are you looking for?” Delia studies her friend.

“A rope. Of course.”

“You’re not. I was just kidding. ” Charles checks Alaina’s face to see if she’s kidding.

“Why not? That’s why I brought you two here.” Delia said.

Charles stares back at Delia who has a growing smirk on her face. Her innocence has turned to a dare, from what he could surmise of his new friend. “You wanna see what’s in there?”

“Alaina, I’ll help you look for a rope. ‘kay?” Delia adds.

Pause. Alaina studies her new friend.

“Wait up. You’re up to something. I know it.” Charles exudes a look feigning distrust at Delia.

Charles glances at Alaina and then back and forth from Delia to Alaina.

“You try something funny, people will miss us. Just saying.” Charles warns in banter.

Delia warms to the theme as she senses their growing excitement. “Why would I? Then I have no friends. Does that make sense, dimwad??”

Guffaws from Charles. He’s slapping his legs, whooping.

“Dimwad! Dimwad! Sooo original!”

Alaina looks back in disgust at Charles and strides toward the forest. In the distance, Mount Adams sits as if watching them.

“What are you doing?” Charles asks.

“Going to get some rope or twine or long stick to probe or go down with…” Alaina replies, yelling back.

“Wait up, bitch!” Charles runs behind Alaina as Delia looks on in glee.

Charles looks back at Delia. “Hey, you going or what?”

“I’ll wait up for you here… my foot hurts.” Delia waves at them as they walk through the woods and recede into the thicket.

Delia grins. She walks back and leans over to look in the well. Inside the well, several yards below, something slithers.

Delia grabs a stone and tosses it in and a few minutes later, something splashes. Then moves.

Stay tuned until next week when Delia finally gets her friends to discover what has been hidden in THE WISHING WELL.
