The Shadows in the Trailer

(Plus some insight into my forthcoming book!)

Hello All!

I’m sure it felt like forever since I added a new item to my blog of stories and dreadfully terrifying accounts. Why? It has been! Until now I have been working furiously on a new book after the release of THE INFERNAL which is selling like hotcakes at bookfests and SOLD out all twenty copies at the Doylestown Bookshop this past January!

I am truly stoked and happy to report that THE INFERNAL will be coming out this year on Audible since despite the low numbers of reviews on Amazon, it is very much a bestseller when I bring it to festivals. Thank you to all my wonderful fans and readers who have supported me since the beginning of my writing career as a novelist and nonfiction writer of the supernatural. I began writing as a scriptwriter in 2009 and began writing books in 2020 right after the pandemic. I am truly appreciative to all my readers who have patiently waited for my books.

My latest book, still in progress and due out early summer is Against the Forbidden Darkness: A Medium and Her Struggle to Free Souls. It is in a capsule, the true story of a living medium, Michelle Budke and how she encountered negative entities who attempted to stop her from using her gift as a seer and a rescuer of lost souls. The book will be on my website which has a direct link to Amazon and also in select bookshops and antique stores.

Watch for updates on the release by subscribing here or following me on Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, Goodreads and of course, TikTok.

Thank you to Michelle Budke for the opportunity to write the book about your odyssey into the paranormal.

Anyway, for those of you who are new subscribers, a warm welcome! It’s been a very hectic past six months and now that I have a few minutes, I can post a story that came from a good Facebook fan, Annette Damalas. So without much more intro, here’s Annette’s story:

Sometime ago, I purchased a trailer from a friend who is a witch. Not realizing he was a black witch which for those of you that are knowledgeable about witches, is not the kind who practice good deeds and understand the dynamics of the earth. He sold me a trailer which to this day I still remember well because of what happened.

On a warm day in April, I moved into the trailer when my son was only about two years old. The first few nights were uneventful, until well into the weekend, I sensed a presence in the hallway of the double wide trailer which had three bedrooms. Please allow me to explain how the trailer was laid out: The largest bedroom which was at the end of the trailer faced out onto the hallway. Both sides had the other two rooms, the third one being my infant son’s bedroom which faced the only bathroom. Off further into to middle portion was the kitchen and finally the living room which had a small table that fitted four people if they were to dine together.

On this particular Sunday, I was preparing my clothes for work and happened to glance up the open door of my bedroom to check on my son. He was on a high chair playing with a spoon and he had made a noise. I found him looking up at the ceiling. I emerged from my bedroom and approached him, and noticed that he was really focused on watching something I couldn’t see.

I proceeded to take my son out of the high chair, thinking he was getting anxious to get out. He then lost his balance after continuing to stare up at the ceiling and fell, hitting his head on the floor. I frantically ran back to him as I noted he had sat up and was concerned he was hurt. He wasn’t, but I discovered he was in a trance. This terrified me and I proceeded to try to awaken him from the trance by gently smacking his cheeks. He finally came out of it and began to cry.

As time went on, I had more strange occurrences in the trailer. A few weeks later, I had two chairs that were in the kitchen which I normally place close to the small table. I thought I saw in the corner of my eye one of the two chairs move. I glanced and examined it, walked over and pushed it back under the table. I leaped into the shower and had changed the baby when I turned to find both chairs were now out from under the table. I had not moved either one, and of course the baby was with me the entire time in the bathroom.

The final straw was one evening when as I was watching television, I saw shadows in the hallway. I muted the TV and saw the lights flicker and thought that I was imagining things. I ignored the shadows and later that night went to bed after tucking my son in. I stepped into bed, pulled the sheets and shut the light off. I awakened sometime later to find I couldn’t move. I was feeling as if something was in the room with me, balefully watching me, but I could not move an inch. I struggled with the sheets, attempting to pull them off me and to reach the light. I was so exhausted and became even more exhausted. Finally I found myself attempting to yell out, but I could not. I was in the throes of sleep paralysis. I fell asleep finally and the next thing I knew the sun was coming out of the windows.

I bolted out of the room and checked on my son who was still asleep. I took him, packed my things and sold the trailer a few days later. Thankfully the original owner who will go unnamed purchased the trailer back from me and they still live there to this day.

Thank you for reading my story.

Thank you Annette for your very scary true account!
