Hello to my wonderful subscribers and fans!

The long-awaited book set in Italy is LIVE on Amazon. (Hip, hip, hooray!)

First of all, I’d like to thank all my fans and fellow authors who have supported me in this venture, especially John Olsen, author of the Strange Bridgerland series who has a new book on Utah high-strangeness coming up this July. He has again created the book jacket you see on the sales page. I’d also like to thank my blog contributor, Michelle Budke for her consultation on the entity (I won’t tell as it’s a spoiler.). Lastly, Roxane Turnbull for her proofreading of the book!

I love supporting fellow authors and some of you have graciously offered to read and review my book on Amazon and Goodreads. From the bottom of my heart, thank you in advance. For my faithful readers who have read all or most of my books, love you and hope to meet you in person someday.

My simple request to all my readers is to please, please, please, rate and review the book if you loved it. You can do this with one or two simple sentences on Amazon or your Goodreads account – whatever is most accessible to you. Readers out there will see your invaluable review and it helps with the visibility of the book when it reaches a certain rank. Goodreads is tailored to readers specifically, while Amazon has a vast warehouse which drowns little authors like me who are not published by the big five (Penguin/Random House, Simon and Schuster, McGraw Hill, to name the three I’ve come across the most.).

Anyway, enough of the boring stuff which is not about horror! So here on the BOOKS section of my website, you’ll find the description of the book and the bar to purchase directly from Amazon! Not to fear, but I am told the books will be globally distributed shortly and will be offered to bookstores near you, in the next state and worldwide (I saw India the other day as I was on my book dashboard editing.).

For those of you who prefer Kindle, it’s there. If you love the scent of books, the paperback is there.

Lastly, the paperback is on special offer at a deep discount of $12.99 here in the U.S. and Hawaii. I am told it will run until Halloween when it changes to meet the rising printing costs to its regular price of $14.99.

On a side note, the book is based on a true narrative shared to me by two British tourists while my husband and I were on vacation in sunny Budapest (Yes, it was sunny because it was July!). Who were the British tourists? The same ones who are in the book. Yes, they are real-life people who encountered and lived through weeks of horror which this book you are about to read will show. I have changed their names as well as the shopkeeper in the book as the store is still there and the couple still resides in London.

Funny how I meet interesting people when I travel and have lunch or dinner overseas.

Shortly, I will be embarking on a short flight to Kansas to meet the protagonist of my previous book, Against the Forbidden Darkness. Yes, ladies and gents, she is a real medium and she is very gifted in this respect and has become a friend. Michelle Budke is the founder of First City Paranormal of Kansas and as the book shows, she is a soul rescuer.

I look forward to your voyage into the unknown in beautiful and breathtaking Salerno, Italy.

All the best,

Anna Maria Manalo
